MODIFICAZIONE DELL’ASSETTO EPIGENETICO DI CELLULE DELLA GRANULOSA UMANA CON 5-AZACITIDINA E LORO DIFFERENZIAMENTO IN CELLULE MUSCOLARI SCHELETRICHE Nuclear reprogramming describes a switch in gene expression of one kind of cell to that of another unrelated cell type. Through this method it becomes possible to derive one kind of specialized cell from another more accessible tissue in the same individual. Early studies in frog cloning provided some of the first experimental evidence for reprogramming; subsequent procedures included mammalian somatic cell nuclear transfer, cell fusion and induction of pluripotency by ectopic gene expression. All these techniques present both practical and ethical problems, so the aim of the present study is to develop an alternative technique in order to improve or substitute the other procedures.
